Shipping & delivery times: how long until your order arrives

Every hardware order ships from our workshop in Austria, across the EU and to selected countries worldwide. Shipping is charged per order by destination; the exact amount appears in the cart as soon as you pick your country. Two numbers matter for the delivery date, and they are not the same thing:

• Dispatch time is how long we need before the parcel leaves us. Every kit is assembled and bench-tested, then handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days of your order.
• Delivery time is how long the carrier needs after that. It depends on your country, so the ranges below are estimates, not a guarantee.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Austrian public holidays.

Shipping costs and delivery time by region#

One flat rate per order, no matter how many items are in it. Rates are net like our product prices: within the EU, VAT is added at checkout; outside the EU, no Austrian VAT is charged. The delivery ranges start on the day the parcel is dispatched, not on the day you order. Add the 1–2 business days of dispatch time for the total.

Your country is not in the list? Email contact@timelapserobot.com with your delivery address and we will quote shipping for it, usually within one business day.

Once the parcel is on its way you receive a tracking link by email. If you have not heard from us within three business days of ordering, write to contact@timelapserobot.com and we will check.

Deliveries outside the EU: customs#

Orders shipped to a country outside the European Union go through import customs on arrival. Two things follow from that:

• Import duties and taxes are charged by your country, not by us, and are payable by you as the recipient. The invoice is issued without Austrian VAT (tax-exempt export), and the carrier usually collects the import charges before or at delivery.
• Customs clearance takes time that we cannot influence. In most cases it is a day or two, but it can occasionally hold a parcel for a week or more. The delivery ranges above already include typical clearance, but not exceptional delays.

If you need the equipment on site by a fixed date, order early and email us the date right after ordering. We will note it on your order and keep you updated.

Can I get it faster?#

For urgent projects, express shipping with a guaranteed delivery date is possible on request. Email us before you order with your delivery address and the date you need the camera on site, and we will quote the express surcharge.

Returns and cancellations#

Whether you can return hardware without giving a reason depends on where it was delivered:

• EU, EEA and United Kingdom: consumers have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, counted from the day the goods arrive. You pay the return postage; we refund the purchase price and, if you return the whole order, the standard shipping you paid. Equipment that has been mounted on site or used beyond what you would try in a shop may be subject to a deduction for loss of value.
• All other countries (Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia and so on): there is no right of withdrawal or return for change of mind. The order is binding once placed. Your statutory rights in the event of a defect are not affected.
• Changed your mind right after ordering? Email contact@timelapserobot.com straight away with your order number. As long as the parcel has not left our workshop we cancel free of charge. For deliveries outside the EU that is also the only way to avoid customs costs.
