We built the system we always wanted.
Timelapserobot started on real construction sites, not in a boardroom. We needed a camera that could be mounted once and trusted for months — through rain, dust, frost and the occasional crane swing — and the long-term timelapse software to match: one place where months of footage curate, monitor and render themselves into a finished film.
So we built one. A weatherproof housing, a 4G bridge, a GoPro and a cloud platform that does the boring work: filtering bad-weather frames, flagging outages, and rendering the film. Designed and assembled in Europe, supported by the people who use it themselves.

Timelapserobot is built by Filmspektakel, a film-production studio in Vienna. For years we've shot professional timelapse and hyperlapse — our award-winning “A Taste of…” series alone runs four cameras and around 65,000 frames per film, with 5M+ views and five Vimeo Staff Picks.
Construction clients kept asking us to document year-long construction projects. We weren't an anonymous cloud company — we climb the cranes, roofs and masts ourselves — so we built the camera and platform we wished existed, and now we ship it to you.
