FAQ

How do I find the best camera position for a construction timelapse?

Drop the camera on the satellite view of your site, aim the field-of-view cone at the build area and check that everything fits. Choose a position that stays clear for the whole project — account for cranes, scaffolding and material staging that appear over time.

How much of my site does my field of view cover?

Coverage width depends on field of view and distance: width ≈ 2 × distance × tan(FOV/2). A GoPro at ~120° from 80 m covers roughly 280 m wide. The tool shows the figure live as you aim the camera.

Can I plan multiple cameras?

Yes. Add several cameras, aim each one and see where their fields of view overlap. That makes it easy to plan multi-angle projects and share the layout with colleagues or clients via a link.
