Timelapserobot is a cloud-based platform that lets you create, monitor, and manage long-term timelapse projects remotely.

It connects your camera to an online dashboard where images are automatically uploaded and organized.

You can monitor progress from anywhere, spot issues early, and turn thousands of images into a clean, professional timelapse video at the end of your project.

Timelapserobot works with smartphones, GoPro cameras, and selected IP cameras.

• Smartphones: Install the Timelapserobot Android app and connect it to your account.

• GoPro: Connect the GoPro to the TLR Bridge, which controls the camera and uploads images. (GoPro Hero 12 & 13 supported)

• IP cameras: Any IP camera that uploads photos to an FTP server with the timestamp in the filename is supported.

The Timelapserobot web-based software uses a subscription model. You choose a suitable plan per camera, and there is also a free plan for testing. You can cancel anytime.

The TLR Bridge itself does not require a subscription. However, to use it together with the Timelapserobot software, a software plan is required — including the free plan.

Currently, GoPro Hero 12 and GoPro Hero 13 are supported when used with the TLR Bridge.

Support for additional models may be added in the future.

You need a supported camera, a power source, and a Timelapserobot account.

This can be a smartphone with the Android app, a GoPro connected via the TLR Bridge, or a compatible IP camera.

With smartphones and GoPros, you can manage images and adjust camera settings remotely.

With IP cameras, Timelapserobot manages the images, timelapse, and sharing — but camera settings are handled directly on the camera.

A camera’s built-in timelapse mode only stores images locally and requires manual setup, downloads, and checks.

Timelapserobot adds remote monitoring, automatic uploads, and centralized project management for long-term timelapses.

You also get a public or private landing page to share your project and automatic notifications if capturing or uploads stop working — so problems are caught early, not at the end.

Timelapserobot does not provide a solar power setup yet.

However, you can already use Timelapserobot with third-party solar solutions by providing your own power system.

Whether solar is suitable depends on the camera type, capture interval, and location.
